COL. Kizza Besigye returns home next Wednesday to beat the October 28 voters’ registration deadline, the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party announced yesterday.

THE main opposition parties, the G6, have written to President Yoweri Museveni calling for 14 new political reforms ahead of next year’s general elections.
The group said if the reforms were not implemented by the end of the this year, they would boycott the 2006 elections.
