A BRIEF PROFILE NEW ORDER DEMOCRACY (NOD) was formed in 1993 by a cross section of young Ugandans at that time some in exile and the majority of others within Uganda. The founders of NOD, conscious and having witnessed the appalling years of successive dictatorships, military juntas and the consequent blood letting that has become the norm since Independence, reached out to the conscience of right thinking and fair minded Ugandans to do something. NOD was so born, and it thus represents the collective conscience of Uganda. |
